Privacy Policy — InPlay Cricket

This Privacy Policy explains what InPlay Cricket ("we", "us") collects when you use our app, web platform and services, and what we do with it. We've tried to keep it short, plain and direct. Where the law requires legal phrasing, we've kept it as small as possible.

TL;DR — We collect what we need to run a free prediction game fairly. We don't sell your data. We store it securely. You can request a copy or deletion at any time.

01What We Collect

When you create an account: a username, email address, and (optionally) phone number. When you play: predictions, accuracy, streaks and leaderboard rank. Device data is limited to OS version, app version, and a hashed device identifier used to detect duplicate accounts.

02How We Use It

To run your account, coin balance and prediction history.
To keep leaderboards and match predictions fair.
To improve match prediction windows and game balance.
To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets).
To investigate fraud, multi-accounting, and abuse.

We do not use your data to train advertising profiles, sell ad impressions, or feed third-party marketing.

We share data only with the vendors required to operate the platform: our email provider and our cloud infrastructure. Each is bound by data-processing agreements and may not use your data for any other purpose. We disclose information to law enforcement only when legally compelled and we will tell you when we are able to.

04Storage & Security

Data is stored in encrypted form in AWS data centres located in the EU and South Asia. Account passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Two-factor authentication is on by default for all accounts. Backups are retained for 90 days and then permanently deleted.

05Your Rights

You can, at any time:

Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
Correct anything that is wrong.
Delete your account and all associated data.
Withdraw consent for any non-essential processing.
Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

06Cookies

The web platform uses a minimum number of cookies: one to keep you signed in, one to remember your preferred language, and an anonymous analytics cookie that helps us measure aggregate page performance. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels.

07Age & Region

InPlay Cricket is available only to users aged 13 years or older (18 or older where required by local law). We use age verification at signup. The platform is free to play everywhere it is available.

08Fair Play

InPlay Cricket is a game of skill. Coins are earned through play and have no cash value — there is nothing to buy, sell, or redeem for money. We monitor for multi-accounting, bots, and collusion to keep leaderboards fair for everyone.

09Changes To This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally to reflect new features or legal requirements. If we make a material change, we will notify you in-app and by email at least 14 days before it takes effect.
